Electric Machine Report 2025

2575,00

Electric construction machines have existed for decades, particularly in underground mining where cable-driven machinery has been standard for some time already. Larger cable-powered machines also remain common in open-pit mining and quarry operations. What marks a significant shift in today’s market, however, is the growing availability of battery-powered construction machines and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) that remove the need for cable connections entirely. This enables more flexible deployment across a variety of construction environments, especially in urban areas and infrastructure projects with strict emissions regulations.
